Key: Solid Black Lines. Means a running player, or one at least moving into position for the receptive pass. Dotted Line. Means the pass, or shot, or alternative pass. Green Player: Defense. Black Player: Offense. His = His or Her

Rebound Drill Offensive player in the corner, uses the boards to bounce a ball (past an imaginary defender) to a player running through, who collects the pass, and controls it for a shot on the keeper.
    Broomball Rebound Drill

Forward Reception, Backhanded Shooting Winger passes the ball in a hard forward pass, to the other winger running through, who controls the ball for a backhanded shot or flick on the keeper.
Broomball Forward Reception, Backhanded Shooting Drill

Behind Goals PassOffensive player behind the goals, chooses his pass to the Offensive Defender, coming through on the goal tender, either picking up the pass before reaching the Goal Tender, in which case the ball is controlled and a flick shot (forehand whilst running across the face of the goals) is put on the keeper. Or running across the face of goal for the collection of the pass from the far side. This player then looks for the pass to the Offensive Defender (R) who has manoeuvred to the center spot. Who then controls the ball for a slapshot.
    Broomball Behind Goals Pass Drill

Triangulation The Offensive players on the boards are used to eliminate the defender with the option of passing the ball up and down the boards, or passing to the Offense player in the center who has the shot on goal.
    Broomball Triangulation Drill

Pressing the Boards and backing up The (R) winger uses the boards to side step a defender, and head towards the goals. Whilst the center player passes the ball to this player, and follows it in (backs up). The (R) Wing, controls the ball, and looks for a shot on goal, or a pass off to the incoming center player for an option.

    Other Drills.
Give and Go - Pass between players through a set of cones, with a shot on goal at the end.
Cross Over - Cross over drill, with the ball dropped back to the trailing player.
Shots on Goals - Shots on the goal Tender. Put a player on a post for some variation. Get the tender to call the shooter.
Four into Three - Four cones, three players. The player with the ball passes to the vacant spot. One player then runs to that spot to collect the ball and passes to the vacant spot again.
Goalie Flop - Goalie does a press up between shots from the coach.
Goalie Reactions - Tennis balls are thrown (or use a tennis racket) at the goal tender to improve reactions. Several dozen balls would be useful.
Bench Flip - Players running down, flip a ball over the bench lying prone, and collect and control the ball on the other side whilst also jumping the bench, to simulate a prone player.
Man in the Middle - One or two players in the center, surrounded by opposition. Object to get control of the ball (middle players). Outside players try to keep it away from the center player(s). Can also be tried without sticks for the centre player.
Circle Passing - Players run in a circle, passing between players in front and then behind. Don't forget to change directions and reverse the run.
One On One - Best with plenty of players. Setup back to back goals, Players go for the opposite goal. Players face off and attempt to score on their opponent. Lots of players makes it harder to control as each pair is concentrating on their game.
